SuperHYEroes!

Well, the time has finally come to announce the theme for Camp 2011 and we are super excited about  SuperHYEroes: Past, Present, and Future.  

With so many superhero movies coming out this summer, we figured what the world really needs is some superHYEroes!  This summer we'll be learning about heroes of the Armenian church as well as how we can be heroes every day.  We are planning some exciting classes and activities around our Camp theme and can't wait to see how creative you all will get with your cabin themes and costumes for the dance!!!

Just remember, superHYEroes are always on time (it's what sets them apart from everyday Hyes) so make sure to get your staff and camper applications in before the Priority Deadline of April 30th!

Family Day - Cancelled

Unfortunately, due to inclement weather, Family Day has been cancelled.  We were so looking forward to seeing you all this weekend and getting a chance to introduce those of you who have never been to Hye Camp.  We apologize for the short notice, but we were waiting in hopes that the weather would change in time for Saturday.  

We hope you all can make it up to Camp this summer and, as always, if you have any questions about our program or facilities you can find most information on our website or email us at info@hyecamp.com.

Have you registered for Family Day at Camp?!

It's not to late to sign up for Family Day at Camp on Saturday April 9th, 2011!

Family Day is free of charge and open to everyone, from those that have never attended our Camp before, to those who miss camp and can’t wait until the summer to return. On Family Day, we will have a full day planned including lunch, a tour of the property, arts and crafts, sports activities, and even a campfire!

If you wish to attend, you MUST register by Sunday, April 2, 2011 at:  http://www.hyecamp.com/family-day

Parents, we know it can be difficult to send your child away for a week of camp in an unfamiliar place, which is why this is the perfect opportunity to see the facility (cabins, bathrooms, kitchen, lake, etc.) and become more comfortable with our program. We promise, after Family Day at Camp, everyone will leave excited to return!

For those of you who have already attended camp...come on up! Since the day is
geared toward NEW families, we ask that you be available to share your experiences
and be part of the Family Day program as well as hang out and enjoy camp in the
springtime!

So mark your calendars for April 9, 2011! It will be a day of fun at the Camp
property and a great opportunity for NEW campers and families to see our Camp and
learn about us, so please join us and spread the word!
