Night Hike
Wednesday, July 13, 2016 at 8:04AM We had an amazing night hike last night. We saw a deer running across the forest as we were hiking up. I think we might've scared it. As we got up to the top, it was wonderful to hear Father Sarkis explain to the campers the signficance of the top of the mountain, and how Jesus went to the top of the mountain for 40 days to pray, and was crucified and resurected on the top of the mountain. We enjoyed gazing at the stars afterwards, and were lucky enough to see a shooting star. The campers were astonished at the beauty of the sunset and the night sky.
